Dominique Brooks

Healing Impacted Communities was founded by Ms. Brooks in 2018, a Bay Area native, community activist, and environmental and climate justice advocate. She has worked collaboratively with partners such as CBOs, across the Bay Area, and with local and government agencies to address EJ issues and ensure residents within low-socioeconomic marginalized communities have a voice, and engage in policies, processes, and decision making that directly impact our environment, health, and quality of life. She has helped host forums, youth summits , toxic tours, and  issues surrounding shoreline and costal protection. She has played a vital role in providing leadership and shaping our vision, programs, and support for disadvantaged communities.
