OUR PROGRAMS

HIC collaborated with public health agencies, representatives tribes, and local fishing communities  to co-host a forum for communities and the general public to discuss PFAS exposure/contamination in  SF Bay fish and provided community’s perspective  of the historical cumulative impacts from multiple routes of exposure to hazards , heavier burdens of PFAS and generational legacy of fishing within the Black Community.
